Princess Bride: Help Raise Up to $10,000 for Solid Ground This Saturday

Screen shot 2011-07-28 at 4.58.19 PMIt has come to our attention that this Saturday, audiences have the opportunity to pick between a free screening at the Seattle Center Mural Ampitheater or pay $5 to see it at the Fremont Outdoor Movies this weekend. While we are surprised to find out that the competition on the same night (considering our summer program is announced in May every year). Our concern is the possible opportunity lost for the non-profit charity fundraiser tonight.

The choice is yours, but I would like to share just how important your choice is and how you can benefit a local non-profit Solid Ground

This weekend we are showing a family classic, The Princess Bride.  Come out for one of the most fun nights of the season, featuring Wing It Production’s Doug Willot hosting trivia, and playing games with the audience where you can win all sorts of prizes.

SUPPORT LOCAL – 100 % OF ALL DOOR PROCEEDS ARE MATCHED BY OUR SPONSOR – COHO TEAM OF WINDEMERE AGENTS

This night, 100% of admission will go to Solid Ground, a non-profit group “dedicated to achieving a just and caring community, free from poverty, prejudice and neglect.”  Even better, the CoHo Team of Windermere Agents will match our donation to support Solid Ground even more. If 900 people show up for this event this Saturday, you could potentially fundraise just under $10,000 for this wonderful charity.

It may seem like a hard decision, but just think that the $5 you could pay for, is actually worth $10 to the charity, Solid Ground this weekend. Also featuring food by Charlie’s Buns n’ Stuff, this is a night you definitely don’t want to miss!

The choice is yours and look forward to seeing you all there this weekend.
